Meet The Cat House Team!
Hello! We are a small team of staff and volunteers who are crazy about cats!
The Cat House (aka TCH) was created with the goal to provide a different adoption experience! A zero pressure environment where cat people can enjoy the company of adoptable cats for the sake of cat therapy or with the intention to adopt :)
We have created such a wonderful community of Cat People since opening and
tch staff and volunteers say thank you so so much for welcoming us and the cafe cats to roselle!
TCH is a small business partnering with Heartland Animal Shelter! TCH provides the foster space for the Cafe Cats- and Heartland receives 100% of the adoption fees to continue saving more cat lives!

Hello! My name is Irene (she/her) and I am the crazy cat lady behind The Cat House. I have 3 cats of my own and have been part of the cat rescue and fostering world for many years! It made sense that the next step would be to open my own cat cafe to help adopt out more kitties! My cats' names are- Maggie, Gus, and Lisa!
Lisa is my special needs kitty. I can't say I have favorites hehe...but she does have her own instagram and tiktok if you'd like to see what she's up to! @lisathespecialkitty.
